I started making mobiles this year. This is my second one.

This isn’t a simple one that hangs straight down like for baby cribs. This one you have to build from the bottom up as each rod is cantilevered against the previous. This provides unexpected movement with the slightest breeze.

I printed these out on white cardstock then laminated each bird so it will last. Each Piece is Double-Sided. Each bird hangs on fishing line from a fishing spinner attached to the rods. The logo at the bottom is framed by two hummingbirds. Bonnie loves calligraphy. She got me started on it.

I am studying the works of Calder and finding new techniques online. My next mobile is another leap forward.
