My first attempt at making a mobile took a few tries.

Most of the difficulty was in the technicalities of the attachments. I added fishing spinners after having the lines twist up in testing.

I went with pre-fab wires that were not optimal for the task. hot glue did not work well, so then I switched to super glue to attach rods to spinners.

After I sent it, I realized the paper is going to warp in the moist climate of Washington.

My next mobile was laminated for that reason. I prefer the look of paper alone, but I want to see these pieces last more than a season or two.

My third mobile introduces the use of aluminum 18 gauge wire. This provides a LOT more creative freedom than the pre-fab mobile wire rods.
